Documenting Life's Extraordinary Moments

Saturday's wedding was at the Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh city centre with Catriona & Cormac, so an early start as my first stop was at the Bride's parents house a 30 min walk from the carpark. It was great to meet up again with some familiar faces as I photographed Catriona's brothers wedding at Oran Mor last year.

Spent all morning with the girls then we were off to the ceremony.

Today I had a 2nd shooter with me, Francesca, due to the logistics of Edinburgh city centre I was never going to get to see the boys in the morning so Francesca had that covered for me.

I had never been inside the venue before but wow the rooms are huge and that includes the massive chandeliers so lots of space to move around during the ceremony.

Afterward I gave the couple plenty of "mingling" time to meet and greet everyone.

After the group formals we jumped in the awaiting taxi from One Fare Day vintage taxi's to whisk us around some photo spots in the city center. Catriona & Cormac even managed to get us access to private gardens right in the centre of the city which was amazing, a first for me then onto Circus Lane and we even managed to squeeze a trip to Carlton Hill all in an hour!

Weather closed in the evening but there was a little tunnel beside the venue which I used with some strobes which kept us dry for some evening photos.

What can I say, it really was an amazing day , fantastic atmosphere and one helluva first dance which was a ceilidh , alot of photos to now go through !

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Slevin
